ICO / Bayer Clinical Fellowship in Ophthalmology 2020

The ICO is delighted to confirm that Bayer Pharmaceuticals have generously funded a Clinical Fellowship for the ICO to make available to trainees nearing the end or recently finished their HST or HMT training. 

The funding is up to a maximum of €40,000 and is intended to support a trainee access a high quality training opportunity which is not currently accessible within the training programme.

Applications are now invited for this bursary. 

To apply please submit an overview of the training opportunity you wish to access and how this will make a future contribution both to patients and to your career.  As a guide approx 500 words would be ideal.  

Please also submit a copy of your CV and a confirmation letter from the Specialist you intend to train with.

Please submit your application by Monday March 23rd to rebecca.martin@eyedoctors.ie. The College may organise interviews to assist with the selection of the bursary recipient.
